Over the last 39 years; the military has mobilized me once for Operation Dessert Shield/Dessert Storm; once for Operation Iraqi Freedom; once for Operation Enduring Freedom, and my last overseas tour was in 2019 for the War on Terror, as I served from February 2019 to January 2020 for 352 days in Iraq. Returned to the United States to come home and only to contract Coronavirus and Double Pneumonia, almost loosing my life in ICU, vital organs shutting down and not getting oxygen to my brain; while loosing my Mom at the same time in April 2020. Moving on, in the late 80's, I obtained my Associates Degree from Erie Community College; my Bachelor's Degree from Youngstown State University, as many of you know; I ran Track-n-Field in Highschool. I pursued that vigorously and was awarded an NCAA Full Athletic Scholarship in T&F to a Division 1-AA Program in Ohio. After College I worked for Time Warner Corporation for about 5yrs. I left there and began a career in Western Pennsylvania providing Therapuetic Counseling to troubled youth and teens. After 7 years, I then decided to accept a 3 year contract as the Executive Director of an area Youth Development Facility back in Norteast Ohio; once contract was completed.
