Sharon's Story
OK, here we go, (to briefly summarize my life)! Sharon Akin, graduated Rancho Alamitos, 1967. I was married (1968) to & divorced, after 10 years, my high school sweetheart (he went to another high school in Garden Grove!). We have 2 daughters, & share 11 grandchildren. NO KIDDING!! Oldest grandson just enlisted in the Air Force & I will fly to San Antonio, Tx for his graduation January 2, 2009. I'm excited and so proud!!

e were together for 18 years, married for 10. He passed away in 2001.
Now have my own home in Desert Hot Springs, CA which I share with my dog, Skycap..he'll be 13 next month. (I am in the book if anyone wants to reach me).
Like to think of myself as retired but do work occassionally in the Real Estate market.
I like to futz around the yard, do home improvements..inside & out (I have become a dedicated Home Depot Guru!), love dancing, dining, hanging at the pool & working on the tan when weather permits!
I have attended every "Class of '67" reunion and look forward to the next & seeing everyone.
