My biggest claim to adding to my community here in Houston is founding The Childrens Museum--yep, I incorporated it, formed a board of directors and helped to raise money in the 1st 4 years of its life. My passion has always been writing which I fulfill by writing articles for magazines. Often I write under my maiden name so as not to conflict with real estate. However if the article has to do with real estate or homes or community I write under my married name. You can google me and some of the articles will come up.
Our littel clique in high school was called the Hell Raisers. It was a close group of gal friends. It was hard to duplicate that but over the years I have formed many close friends in Houston via involvement in various groups. One of my favorite groups is City ArtWorks for whom I've co-chaired 4 fundraisers.
