Sharon's Story
Life
Hello, thanks for visiting my site. I've been living in the Sacramento area for the past twenty seven years. Married for twenty-one years, no children: just four dogs, one cat and a horse. I'm lucky enough to live on an acre just outside of Sacramento. ItÂs really nice to have my horse in my back yard and still work in the city. I'm not riding my horse as much as I did in the past. The last big show I went to was the Cow Palace in SF. I won the Amateur Western Pleasure class with the quarter horse gelding that I've had for over eighteen years. This was big for me, I was so ecstatic to obtain my childhood dream of riding at the Cow Palace. I have been working for the same company for the past twenty-three years, where I am currently working as a Complex Administrative Manager for Morgan Stanley. My office is on the nineteenth floor of the Well Fargo Center in the heart of Sacramento. I'm basically the compliance manager for the entire complex of Morgan Stanley offices in the Sacramento area. There are six branches that I travel around to all dressed up in fancy suits. I just got back this week from a trip to SF where I got to spen...Expand for more
d time at the branch which is right down town in the Financial Area. Sweet! I am however still very much a tomboy. My husband and I are currently remodeling two bathrooms, all ourselves. So far this month I purchased some major tools to get the job done. I also just had to chop down a tree that was in my back yard, I now know how to use a chainsaw as well as some of the great Mendocino lumberjacks. Two of my dogs are turning two years old in May. They are beautiful American Foxhounds. They are a big dog that look like beagles on steroids. Love them to death; I purchased them with the thought of showing them at AKC shows, thinking it would be along the same line of horse showing. Well that didnÂt work out, so now I have two wonderful registered hounds that I canÂt even use for breading. I was hoping to start a breading program to bring these great dogs into the area. If you ever get a chance to get one and have some room for them to hunt around they are a great family dog. My Sister Diane and my brother Steve still live in the Willits area. Both are doing really well. Steve has the only kid in our family. My dad lives in Lakeport.
