became an insurance agent. I still continued to work in Grand Island with Soil Conservation Service. We lived in Hastings for 10 years before my job was transferred to North Platte. I was transferred to Doniphan to work for USDA, NRCS, Resource Conservation and Development. Since my husband was from the North Platte area, we decided to keep our home at Sutherland, bought a house in Doniphan to live in during the week and went home on weekends. I retired in May of 2005 and now live permanently in Sutherland, NE. I have three children, Randy age 32 married with two children, Debra age 30, married with one child, and Robert age 28, married with one child. We have had this home in Sutherland for 10 years. Love retirement.
