Sharon's Story
I quit Tech in spring, 1961 but returned that fall and finished up with my class in June 1963. I married that fall to a South Omaha guy who just finished up 4 years as a Marine. We went to college in California, then came back to Nebraska, Lincoln for more. He went over eleven years full time then I started full time and got my PhD in 1983, 20 years beyond Tech. Ovarian cancer, 2 and still here 47 years later. My husband died in 2007 . I married again 3 years later and moved to Omaha in 2016. I still have a few good friends from Tech and I've always enjoyed the reunions but I think the one in 2018 may be our last--our organizer Connie Dohse Ross died after that. May God help the world recover from the Corona virus. Wear your mask, wash your hands and stay away from large crowds. God bless the class of 1963
