Sharon's Story
Okay - some personal facts:
I moved back to Wolfsville a few years ago with my husband and three sons, Evan (9), Ethan (8), and Aidan(6). Life is good and always busy.
I work for Frederick County Public Schools as a Professional School Counselor. I know, who would have thought that I would have completed college and continued on for a my Master's Degree. Intelligence was my best kept secret in high school.
I think I have a lot of job security even in this economy because the one thing there is not a shortage of is people in crisis.
When I am not working I am busy playing soccer mom to my kids (and baseball mom, and basketball mom). We are an athletic family. I took my love of working out to a new level this past year by training for a full marathon. I am proud to say that I was actually able to complete the full 26.2 miles in the Baltimore Running Festival in October and it was the most fun I have ever experienced. I am currently training with a team that will be running a 200 mile relay in April from Gettysburg to the Washington Monument in DC.
In my free time I enjoy getting together with friends. Over the past year and a half some of the old high school crew has been making a point of getting together for our much needed "girls nights". It's nice to know that when Kim, Mandie, Stephanie, Karen, Lisa and I get together we can have almost as much fun or more than we did 25 years ago.
At some point in the near futute I hope to find the time to add some pictures to my profile.
