Sharon's Story
Life
I live in Virginia, approximately 27.5 miles from DC. I have a BS in Information Communications Systems. I work in DC, as an IT Specialist/Computer Programmer (right now I am programming in SAS) for an Agency of USDA, and have been with this agency for 30 years. I own a home in Virginia, but hope to retire in a couple of years, sell my home, then buy a small townhouse in the vicinity of Smithfield, NC, and settle there in my retirement years.
I am an avid reader, almost anything, but really like mysteries; also like dancing, bowling, working out, enjoy movies, especially period pieces; musicals, like any kind of music, soft rock, jazz, soul; graphology, computers, people watching, houseplants, working in my flower garde...Expand for more

Hope to do more of the things above after I retire. Another favorite pastime of mine is hanging out at Borders, reading, drinking Chai Tea, or while there, working on my laptop, either writing, or correcting computer programs.
I have 1 daughter, who is 38, and 4 grandchildren (Charlie 17, Casey 13, Twins (Chuck, & Cassie, 4)). My second oldest grand child, Casey plays soft ball in the spring and summer. For the past couple of years, his team has ranked number one in the State. In 2003, they ranked thirteenth in the Nation. They live in Oklahoma.
This is all I have for now, but will write more about myself on a later date.
