Sharon's Story
I go by the first name of Sherry. I have continued to live in the Antelope Valley since graduation. I am still married to the same man, Jim Jeffra for almost 50 yrs this coming July 30th. After graduating I received my Cosmetology license in January 1967 and worked in that field until 1975 when I went to work at Edwards AFB as a Civil Service employee until 1979 then transferred to the Social Security Administration in Lancaster and worked there until I retired from Civil Service in 2001. ter Retiring I received my Real Estate License in 2003 and worked in that field until 2010 when I felt I worked long enough! After my husband did 4 years in the USAF and 1 year in Vietnam he became a LA County Deputy Sheriff and retired after 30 yrs Service in 1997. After retiring he went to work for the California State Lottery as an Investigator and is still employed with the Lottery. We have 2 children and 4 grandchildren. I am really looking forward to seeing everyone at our 50th reunion!
