Sharon's Story
After High School I got married had my daughter, moved to New York and got divorced and went to work full time to support myself and my daughter after a few years of that I enrolled in the community college in Brooklyn and went to Nursing school. It was in New York that I met my second husband Tom Meyers he was in the Army there at Fort Hamilton. tes to help my Mother take care of my Father who was dying of Cancer.Tom and I did one more year in the service at Fort Bliss in West Texas where he got out of the Army and went to work for the border as a bridge inspector up until his death in 2006. I then moved to Florida to be near my Mother. I live down the street from her and am now dating the son of one of her best friends and bridge partner. My daughter lives in Clearwater near her Father and about 8 hours south of me.
