Sharon's Story
Life
Sharon Parisi is a founding partner of Conflict Management Partners, LLC, and President of Conflict Management Resources, in Dallas, Texas. She is an accomplished neutral in the fields of dispute resolution and equal employment opportunity investigation. As a mediator, facilitator, trainer, and specialist in employment discrimination matters, Ms. Parisi is dedicated to partnering with clients to create innovative solutions to conflict.
As a charter member of the Texas Mediator Credentialing Association, Ms. Parisi has the distinction of being classified as a Credentialed Advanced Mediator. She is an appointed mediator for the District Courts and Justice of the Peace Courts in Texas and a volunteer mediator for Dispute Mediation Services in Dallas. Due to her expertise in EEO matters, she has worked with federal agencies on select contracts. In addition, Ms. Parisi is a qualified trainer under the standards of the Texas Mediation Trainers Roundtable.
Ms. Parisi received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education from the University of Iowa, in Iowa City, Iowa; and a Master of Liberal Arts degree from Southern Methodist University, in Dallas, Texas. She received a certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Dispute Resolution from Southern Methodist University. Ms. Parisi is a board member and treasurer of Southwest Conflict Resolution Network; member of the State Bar of Texas, Alternative Dispute Resolution Section; member of the national Association for Conflict Resolution (Health Care, Training, Workplace, Education, and Family Sections); member of the Dallas Chapter of the Association for Conflict Resolution; member of the Texas Mediation Training Roundtable; member of the International Association of Conflict Management and member of the Texas Association of Mediators.
Ms. Parisi has more than 20 years experience as an educator, medical facility designer, and non-profit fundraiser. Her clients include schools, hospitals, corporations, federal agencies, community organizations, and churches. With a diverse background, Ms. Parisi has cultivated valuable problem-solving skills to facilitate conflict management. She has established a reputation for persistence in seeking common ground.
