Sharon's Story

Hi! In 2003 I married Kenny McDonald. In the fall of 2005 I moved to Sun City West, Az to be nearer to my parents. Shortly after my move (Ken was still working in corrections) I lost my dad suddenly. I was devastated to say the least. I had just started working in medical records. Needless to say I resigned and took care of my mom. Shortly after that I became ill and had a heart ablation and a pacemaker implant. It is now my "guardian angel"! I still have some health issues, but who doesn't ...Expand for more
now? LOL I am a grandma! They call me "MeMe" and Kenny "K"Pa. My son Craig and his wife Alisa who were married on Aug 13,2005. They have two daughters Ava and Harper. My daughter Kelly and her husband George were married on Oct. 6, 2007. They have a son named Logan. I would like to connect with some of my Edgemont Elementary, BOCES (cosmetology), and of course high school classmates! I just recently retired. Mostly due to health issues. Ken and I foster basset hounds for AZBHR.

We lost our Pippa today. She was almost 13 years old. We adopted her at age 8. She was my first foster with AZBHR. Pippa has always been a joy. We will miss her so much. RIP dear Pippa.
