Sharon's Story
The 2 people from my past who I'd MOST like to see again is Donna Olson and Val Allard, because they are the friends I loved the most!!
Donna, you were my best friend from 6th through 9th grade...Hey Donna, remember the BP skating rink? Didn't we have the best time there? Oh yeah, remember those hot guys hanging out on the bike racks in front of the office?? (One I can particularly remember...)we did at least TRY to keep our hormones in check, right? I wish I would not have lived so far away from you. Where were the cellphones then?? I just remembered, the History Club at Landis...remember Mr. Kaiser? How about the song you taught me about seeing someone in public with curlers in their hair. Lunch time at Landis...remember the guy "Rocko" who used to play catch with some other guys right there in the field...he took his shirt off and stuffed it in his pocket. I thought my heart would stop! Playing records in the girls locker room...didn't we look cute in our gym uniforms??

you remember when you, me and Liz went skate boarding down the garage parking levels and took the elevator back up to the top level until they kicked us out...remember THAT? huh, remember THAT!!!?? How about that Covina Skating Rink? The Prom? What about the time I broke my knee cap jumping out of the car in front of your house, or when my bikini top got twisted to the right when I came walking up out of the ocean...and you ran up and saved me...(OMG I almost just peed my pants from THAT memory.) Remember that 1st hickey and the spoon? Thank God for Cowl Neck sweaters.
I look back and think how rich and full my life has been...it's all about the friends!!
UPDATE; 3/26/2011: I just caught up with Val for the first time in umpteen years!! She looks great!! We laughed and laughed. Then we looked at my 1977 SV yearbook, and then we laughed and laughed some more....we took a few pics and then we laughed and laughed even more...And, if YOU are reading this and you were part of our life in those days, then we laughed and laughed about that too!!
