Sharon's Story
Life
I moved to Williamstown, Ky in May of 2000. My huband of 8 years had already owned a farm with 33 acres of land with an acre lake that is fully stocked. We have 5 outside cats, 1 golden retreiver (Lilly) she's technically MY dog and 2 horses (Tennessee Walkers). I brought with me my two children, Kyle and Kelcie. My husband, Danny has a daughter from a previous marriage as well. Six years ago we added our son, Daniel into our family and gained wholeness. I work with my husband in our family business which is going on it's 52nd year. We fabricate decorative ornamental ironworks such as; wine cellar gates, estate gates, fencing, railing, balconies, window boxes and interior railing. We are currently involved with HBA (Home Builders Association). My two daughters are in the 8th grade and are both involved with cheerleading until next year. Kelcie will be involved with Color Guard and the Speech and Drama Team. Catherine made the varsity cheerleading team. Kyle graduated from Grant County High School in 2007. He is married now and in the Army. He has a passion to jump out of planes. How...Expand for more
in the world he feels so strong about being up so high, I will never know when I can't stand heights. I praise him for his strenght! Daniel, is in 1st grade and loves to swim. He is now playing t-ball and if you have never experienced watching 5 and 6 year olds play baseball, it is something you should do for free entertainment. Life stays pretty busy with all the scheduling issues. We are very active in our church also. I'm looking forward to our 10 year anniversary when we go to Italy! My hobbie and passion is visiting wineries! I'm a wine connoisseur, as my husband says. We had a wonderful Christmas in Gatlinburg where we tried a few new things such as laser tag. How cool! I really enjoyed it. However, my 6 year old killed me more than anyone else. Only being 4 ft tall he had an advantage over all of us. Sneak attack because no one was looking down. I want to thank you for taking the time to read my story and please send me an email, I would love to hear from you! Also, be sure to view my photo album where I have posted several pictures of me and my family. Have a wonderful day!
