Sharon's Story
I attended LaGrange from the 9th grade through March of my senior year.
I ended up transfering to Jacksonville, FL to live with my aunt &
uncle. Since I was born there and graduated there, I had my choice of
attending either FSU or LSU. I chose LSU. I majored in foreign
languages (French, Spanish, & German), but I ended up two years later
with my Mrs. degree. I married Larry McBride from Baton Rouge, LA.
We had a son, Wayne, and seven years later, a daughter, Misty. We
moved around quite a bit and ended up in Corpus Chrsti, TX where in
1984, at the age of 15, Wayne was killed. Two years later we adopted
a daughter, Laura, at the age of 12. Then two years aft...Expand for more

adopted another girl also at the age of 12. My girls will soon be 33,
34, and 35 with the oldest and youngest being adopted. Through the
adopted girls, God has given my grandchildren - 4 grandsons and 2
granddaughters!
I've been married three times, divorced twice, and widowed two years
ago. I have been working for Olan Mills, in their Church Directory
division as a portrait consultant for the past 4 1/2 years. I recently moved to Atlantic Beach, FL to be near my sister and younger brother.
This is right outside Jacksonville. My daughter, Misty, came to live
me in September and this has been a good thing.
That's about all I can think of for now.
