Sharon's Story
I moved to Alameda, from Santa Maria, when I was 16 years old and attended Alameda High for half of my junior year and all of my senior year. I am rarely in Alameda these days, but when I drive down Webster Street, I can't help but think of going to Doggie Diner with Barb DeSimone and Kathy Krause while singing along to Motown songs.

Alto for 25 years. I have two wonderful children and three grandchildren.
I love living in San Francisco, except when city life gets overwhelming and sad, especially this past year with the COVID virus. I am grateful to have a rich and diverse tapestry of friends. I still feel like I am 30 most of the time and don't the reminders that I am not, like reading glasses, little aches and pains. I try to exercise and meditate every day and switched to a vegan diet about a year ago.
