Sharon's Story
Life
After graduating from PHS in 1971, I attended Howard Payne University in Brownwood, TX graduating in 1976 with a Business degree/teacher's certificate (found out real fast that teaching isn't for me!) Presently I'm semi-retired but still operate a home-based business catering to businesses who need outsourcing work done (project management, spreadsheets & graphic design.) Married to Bruce James in 1981 who is a simulation engineer for L-3 Communications here in Arlington, TX. Have 4 kids total and 4 grandkids. Who would have thought we'd have grandkids! Saw several at our 20 & 30-year reunions in Pecos; Still keep up with about 75+ Pecos High graduates through Facebook.Would love to see everyone again! Can't complain......Expand for more

School
My senior year was one of the best -- I loved being a cheerleader and participating in the V.O.E. program. Mrs. Webb was one of my favorite teachers followed by Ms. Jenkins, Ms. Patterson, & Ms. Stickels. Mrs. Turk & Mrs. Kelley probably pushed me the hardest and brought the best out of me.
College
Had a rough start with college -- went to Hardin Simmons in Abilene after graduation and lasted one semester, then transferred to Sul Ross State University. Did too much partying and practically flunked out of everything (except Jazz class, ha). Took a year off, got my act together and went to Howard Payne University in Brownwood, Texas, graduating in 1976 with a Business degree/teachers' certificate.
