Sharon's Story

I graduated in 1966..finished beauty college and got my cosmetology license in 1967..married in 1969..moved to Delano,Ca. where our two sons were born and raised.. I retired from Safeway Stores Inc., six years ago..and my husband,Billy, retired from Rainbo Bread Company.. We retired in Myrtle Point Or. It is just off the coast of Bandon..and we just love it here.. We have 6 grandchildren.. Our oldest son is a teacher in Bakersfield..and our youngest son i...Expand for more
s an investigator with the D.A.'s office in Visalia... I keep busy with church, garden club,Red Hat Society,chamber of commerce and just enjoying life.. We also volunteer at our local food bank..but mostly, I just keep getting fatter..lol...... I love to go to estate sales and estate auctions...collecting teacups and teapots.. We will celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary in April..and yes, I'm older than dirt! I hope people remember me as a nice person.
