Shara's Story

I married Steve Gardner (class of '66) in 1972 and we raised two boys together in the Sierra Foothills outside Placerville, CA. I operated a design & advertising agency for 17 years there. In 1992 we divorced. I moved to Ashland, Oregon living in an urban community with artist and activists. During that time, I also traveled extensively worldwide studying spirituality and sacred music. 2004-2007 moved to SF Bay area and earned a graduate degree in Sound and Music Therapy. Or. I write books and newsletters, have been a co-writer on a movie, compose healing electronic chill music based on the integration of binaural beats. Manage three online spiritual businesses. I have been a water activist since 2003, advocating for clean accessible drinking water worldwide. 2008 moved to Santa Cruz, CA to create a sound healing program for women with cancer. Currently leading workshops and private therapy sessions there and Ashland, OR. Frequent travel to Malibu to work with a filmmaker on sound design and story editing. Spend 3-4 days a week on the beach when I am in town.
