Sharon's Story
I have five children, and four grandchildren. My granddaughter, Annabelle was on the cover of Better Homes and Gardens Scrapbooking Magazine, last month. She is way over my head; that girl is a pistola. Not wild, but SMART. The other three little Bartells are boys, and we relate better. I give them sticks and mudpuddles, and they are happy. I live in Austin now, and three of my kids plus my mother live there as well (and three of my grandchildren). I miss Kerrville, sometimes. I did try living there when I first moved back to TX, but it didn't take. I had lived in the big city for too long, I guess. Oh, yeah, and I have a dog too, only...Expand for more
she is attached to my mom's hip, so I guess I really don't have a dog, but I love her anyway.
I think my biggest surprise about life is that it has gone by so fast. I have had one of the most interesting lives that anyone could ever imagine. A real learning experience that is for sure, and I wouldn't change anything about it. For anyone who knew me, in high school, or thought they knew me, well, I am not that person anymore. I remember being very shy and so confused....(big laugh). I sort of shed that a while back, I guess. Oh, I am so glad not to be in high school anymore, and never again...but if I had known then what I know now...
