Sharon's Story
My life in a nut shell, I married in June of 1965, my husband Don, he was in the military (Army) and we left St. Louis in December 1967 to live in Germany until December 1970. In June 1969 we had our son Donald. In December 1970 we were sent to the Presidio of San Francisco where we stayed until August of 1971 when my husband was shipped off to Viet Nam. 980 when we were sent to live in Naples, Italy for three years. We returned to Washington in 1984 and have been here ever since. My husband died on June 2, 2006 and I have carried on. I was a legal secretary for a very long time and am now working in the Accounting Department of the same law firm that I have been working for for the last 24 years. Life is good, I am the grandmother of 3 girls who are the apples of my eye. Life is good.
