Sharon's Story
I was in the band at Holmes and loved it. We had so much fun and went to many contests. Because I did not come to Holmes until my Sophomore year I feel like I did not know a lot of people but I loved Holmes. After graduation I went to Wesleyan Methodist College in Indiana for two years. Was hired by Delta Air Lines in 1972 and retired in 2005. Married Bob Wright in 1972 and he is the love of my life. We adopted a baby girl in 1987. nd she got married last October and moved with her husband to California. He is in the Air Force. I miss her a lot. We attend Immanuel United Methodist Church in Lakeside Park and I played bells for about 20 years. I quit last year because it was too hard to see the music. I miss it though. While working at Delta Bob and I traveled a lot. Went to Hawaii, Paris, Germany, Ireland, Spain, England, Amsterdam, and many places in the US. It was a great benefit. My hobbies are working out, reading, and taking care of my flowers.
