Sharon's Story
Went to college, freshman year met a Dartmouth College sophmore whom I married in July of 1968, one month after getting my B.A. Moved to Burlington Vermont, and then the Washington D.C. Area. Worked as a social worker. First daughter Jennifer, born 1973 while living in Wheaton Maryland. Moved back to Connecticut to be close to my family. Bought first house in West Hartford. courses evenings and weekends. Started working as a school counselor and social worker. Loved my work and when girls were off to college started traveling. Been to Egypt, Istanbul, many countries in Europe and many winter cruises to the Bahamas and Caribbean to escape the harsh New England winters. Now happily retired , enjoying grandsons Evan and Ryan, and still traveling several times a year! Have loved reuniting with my Patmar friends, especially Julie Pisano and Barbara Thomas.
