Life
I live in Long Beach, California...its home! I kind of look at it like...60 second earthquakes...or...6 months of winter. Write me at SharBjork at A O L dot com any time.
I am sure everyone thought I would be a PE teacher and coach like my parents, but sports for girls weren't what they are today and I wasn't going to make a decent living at it. I learned at an early age that I liked being the boss...a bunch of college friends called me plant manager. I graduated from Georgia State University when I was 30...13 year plan...got a MBA the next year from Lindenwood College in Missouri. No more school, ever! I worked for McDonnnell Douglas...Expand for more
in St. Louis and transferred to Long Beach with them in 1991. No regrets.
Five jobs later, I now work for a food service distributor doing warehouse projects...kind of like an industrial engineer...I love it. Play way more golf than most people and believe it or not, it is the only sport I participate in.
My parents got divorced last year after 51 years...go figure. My mother lives in Florida, my father is back in Syracuse. My sister Janeen (yes, I have a sister) lives in CT and is in the TV field. My brother Jimmy lives in FL, married with 2 kids. My brother Bob passed away about 10 years ago...it was sad, but he is in a better place.
