Sharon's Story
Life
Hi! My life has been a very good one and I can't complain. I am healthy and have a wonderful family. I have a husband of 47 years, 3 children, and still only 4 grandchildren. I have traveled a lot throughout the years, and have kept in touch with many of my school friends. I have worked several places after I raised my 3 children and the last job I had was working at "Knott's Berry Farm" as a secretary in the Merchandise Buying Office. Since leaving Calif. in 1982, I have lived in Denver, CO. for 10 years, and Dayton, OH. for 10 years. My husband Del, has retired, and we now live in Medford, OR. going on 2 1/2 years. I have met and chatted with many of my old school pals due to this "Classmates" website, which I just love. Life has been very good to me, and I am very lucky.
My husband and I recently (Nov. 2005) went on a Cruise, (Mexican Reviera), and had a wonderful time. I won $500.00 at Bingo, bought T-Shirts while visiting each Port, and enjoyed the nice warm sunshine on our private deck. Saw lots more and are planning on our next Cruise already.
April 21st. 2006, my husband and I lost our son Brian, 44 yrs. old to liver cancer. He was so loved by so many people, and we will really miss him in our lives.
This past March,(07) we had the pleasure of becoming Great-Grandparents, to a beautiful baby boy named Tristan. He is the son of our only Granddaughter Brittany.

to move back to Denver, CO. next Spring to be near our two daughter's and their families. However, we will miss Oregon very much.
Well, we finally moved back to Littleton, CO. at the end of June, 08. We have lived here now 3 months near our two daughter's and their families. The sad thing is, I lost my loving husband of 47 1/2 years to a stroke Oct. 6th. 08. I am very sad, as we had a wonderful marraige and I am so lost without him. I do know he is in God's arms right now and looking down on my family and I. Life does go on I know, but it is so hard.
It has been almost 8 months now since losing my loving husband. I am getting along OK, but still miss him so much. I finally found a nice Church here in Littleton, and that gives me comfort. My two daughter's and grandchildren keep me busy so that also helps the lonelyness.
I just spent a week in Oregon where we moved from, and had a nice visit with some family members and friends.
I am hoping I can make it to our 50th. H.S. re-union at Anaheim High, but can't decide as yet.
Well, I now have decided to go to our 50th. Class Re-Union, and can't wait.
