Sharon's Story
I attended Frank Phillips college for a couple years then off to St. Louis to Gradwohl's School. Graduated and got my registry as a Medical technician. Started work in St. Louis and also started Washington University. I got married and moved to Dallas, Texas. From there, we retu rned to St. Louis for 3-4 years and I worked for the Washington University doing carcinogenic research in animals. I worked there for several years and then had a son and our family moved back to Dallas. I stayed home raising my family (had 2 boys). I was a housewife until my husband (Donald Strawn) passed away. re until 2013 when we moved to Slidell, La. My husband passed away that year and I moved to Picayune, Mississippi where I am today. One of my sons lives close by in the same town and the other on lives in San Antonio, Texas. I am the proud grandmother of 3 wonderful grandchildren. Two girls and a boy. I am retired and enjoy it very much. I enjoy going to Eastern Star meetings, I love to fish, enjoy movies, and educational games. I like all kinds of music except hard-rock and rap. (I have to admit rap has a good beat, tho) My younger son works for Fox TV as a production manager, and my older son works for Superior Essex. (computer related) All in all, I am happy and enjoy life. (Went to Mardi Gras for the first time this year.....2015)
