Audrey's Story

Life Have 2 boys, ages 11 and 3. Fun stuff. I THOUGHT that since they were so far apart in age, they would have NOTHING to fight about!!! HA! I drive the BOX on wheels, which is perfect for me, because I CAN be a blockhead sometimes! I am at the early stages of embarking on my own art oriented business. I am an artist, yet the kind who is not likely to ever be discovered or famous, but that doesn't matter, though it would be a nice way to make a living. I did NOT go to college, though I have attempted to a few times in my life. I had a slew of really cool jobs between 18 and 20. Well, not all of them were cool, but a few were, but not like careers. And then it was time to live on my own. A little back and forth between parents and a really good friend whom I have lost touch with over the years, but I FINALLY got the hang of it after a couple of years. Hey, becoming an adult was not exactly easy or fun. BUT I met my future husband when I was 23. HE taught me to drive and helped me to see that there is more to life than worrying about not being able to pay the rent or electricity. We married in 1995 and promptly had our first son. Pass ahead a few years and in 2004 our second son "surprised" us. 2 boys with completely opposite personalities. Both are kind and gentle in their own way, but the 1 year old is developing MAJOR 11 year old brevity and ATTITUDE that is...Expand for more
rubbing off on the 3 year old who ALREADY has his own! 3 is the year of the scream, right? So li9fe goes on. It hasn't exactly all been up and glorious, but never awful. I expected to have accomplished more by now. For some reason, I spent my entire 20's working in the fabulous world of DRY CLEANING in various Beach Cities locals. The good that came of it was that I really learned a lot about different types of people, how silly people can be who have money to throw around, and how to deal with stubborn pressers and cleaners. All I can say is that I hated every minute of it, and only now can I say that I actually not quite miss it, but respect what we all have to go through and learn at various points in our lives. OK. Enough. I could write a book here. I just want to end by saying that IF anyone looks at this, I don't think that a lot of people knew me in high school, because I was quiet and possibly a little dorky. I really don't know. I was always self concious and wanted to be popular, but who didn't. I'm sure some kids really don't care. But I DID really enjoy GERMAN 1 and 2, and I will NEVER forget Mr. Williams and I will never forget getting in trouble by Mr. Andersen in Journalism. (Yes, I wrote for the Cougar for a bit!) Woo HOO!!!!! So I hope all is going well for anyone who actually read this LONG thing! And I hope everyone has a great Life!!!!!!!
