Life-- The NOW picture on this profile is me, in orange, and my Mom, taken on her 90th birthday in August 2008 in CA. I've been married twice, Gene Wood, 1963, had daughter Julie, 1965 (divorced 1975 - I moved to FL in early 76). Second marriage in FL to Mike Osborn, 1978. We met here in FL via Parents Without Partners. I had 35 year career with Federal Government. Retired 2000. I'm currently working a part time job with Police Dept, with kids during school year only. Enjoy travelling (been to 9 countries in Europe; Hawaii, Mexico, Washington, D.C., and many states over the years). Have 4 stepkids w/Mike and have 13 grandkids and 20 greats, & another due in Jan 2011 in NY. Had a 17 yr old grand daughter staying with us after her Mom got married again and moved up to next County. She wanted to stay near all her friends. She is great, keeps me young keeping up with her.UPDATE SEP 2011: Krysten graduated, got married, works in Dr's office & is now going to college. Her hubby, Ryan, who we consider our grandson, works at Home Depot. Love FL , altho most of my family is still in Oxnard area. I'm very active, love amusement parks (have season passes), picnics, beach, family things, our 3 dogs,(my beloved Pluto died 7/11 he was nearly 16 yrs old) swimming in my home pool, riding with top down in my Sebring Convertible, reading, photography, dancing, love my church, avid movie goer, enjoy road trips, Facebook, Ancestry.com, tracing ancestors back to Mayflower, and also one of my great, great, etc grandma's was Eleanor of Acquitaine & g.g. etc grandpa,King Henry, e-mailing friends, and just going/doing things.
