Life
Here I am with my Mom in Carson City, Nevada. When I moved there in 1971 we were followed by nearly all the CA family! Now that I am in the San Diego area, I make about four trips a year to see my three kids and my eight grandchildren.
It is so hard to believe I am applying for Social Security in a few months...where does the time go?
Gary Burley, Class of '62, and I have been together nearly 20 years!!! He is a Realtor and I became his assistant about 9 years ago. With his 3 kids and 10 grandchildren in AZ we make several trips to the Phoenix area each year. Family is where it's at for us.
Update........Oh, wow! That is an OLD story!
Now I've been on SS for nearly five years and am back to a 9 to 5 job. Real Estate went by-by. Gary is selling cars and I am doing Eldercare. No more trips every quarter to NV and AZ. We are lucky to go once a year. My, how times have changed for us. Facebook keeps me in touch with the Family these days.

totally into papercrafts....scrapbooking and making greeting cards. This is how I spend whatever time I can squeeze out of my day.
I've always had a need to create. I used to sew when I had children at home. I liked to design costurmes. Also, write, crochet, garden and collect antiques. .I was a real homebody and I guess I still am.
Three husbands and three lives as a result.
Met Ted Tibbets when I was 14. Married same when I was 18, Oct of 1963. Three children. Lived in Whittier. Split up in '71.
Married Gary Stephenson. Lived in Virginia City, NV. from 1972 through 1983. Moved to AZ for a year. Split in '84
Old highschool "flame" Gary Burley called me out of the blue in '87. We dated, moved in together and then married.
I still see Darlene Flores Adkins on a regular basis. We enjoy going to High Tea together. We also hit the museums, gardens, Disneyland, Knotts, Beverly Hills and many other locations. We truly enjoy one anothers company. Gary often goes with us.
