Sharon's Story

Life After graduation, I went on to Portland State for 2 years, met my first husband and got married. 2 kids and 10 years later, came the divorce. The kids are now 37 ( Tim, who lives in Los Angeles) and 32 ( Andy, who lives in Seaside). I went to work for NAPA Auto Parts in the Portland distribution center, where I met hubby #2 ( Jim). That was in 1984. We got married in 1985 and moved to Anchorage, AK in 1987, where we both worked for NAPA Auto Parts in the new distribution center there. In 1997, we moved to Seaside, Or where we bought the NAPA store, and in 2002, we bought t...Expand for more
he NAPA store in Tillamook. OMG!!! NAPA is my life!!! My son in LA, Tim, works in construction and remodeling and my son, Andy, just recently, became assistant manager in our Tillamook store. My husband's son ( also a Jim) lives in Everett, WA and is in restaurant management. None of there guys are married and we have no grandchildren. We have far too many pets and the insanity level at our house is frequently overwhelming. They make life entertaining, to say the least. It's been an interesting 40 years since graduation, but I have to wonder how so many years could pass so quickly.
