Sharon's Story
The same week I graduated from Hoover I started working for Pacific Telephone as a Directory Assistance Operator. Through the years I've held other jobs and the company name has changed but I've been blessed to work there now for over 35 years. I'm divorced but I have 2 great kids, a daughter 29 and a son 23. No grand kids yet but my sons dog Shadow sure gets excited when he sees me! :0)
Honestly part of me doesn't want to go because I've gained so much weight over the years and as each year passed I'd say I'll go to the next reunion once I've lost the weight. As a personal note and definitely not being preachy but I was a single mother when I had my daughter and I wanted something more for my daughter as she grew up. Sooo I started looking around and visiting various churches, looking for something to fulfill a missing piece in my life and at the same time looking for a church family I could bond with. I found that at my home church - Truth Tabernacle and have never been sorry. She and later my son grew up with the kids,went to the same school with them and its been a wonderful journey.
