Shauna's Story
I graduated from QE in 1968, which is now over 50 years ago. Hard to believe. I did my nurses training at Foothills Hospital, worked as a nurse til early mid 80s, did some travelling, got divorced, went back to graduate school and studied Adult Education. Worked at women's centre for a bit and then went on to complete my doctorate. Have been a faculty member in Adult Education at UBC for 25 years . a ever quite leaves you. Enjoying being off of the academic treadmill and having more time and energy for other things like painting, sewing, walking, reading,, visiting friends and family, and doing some travelling. Have lived in Vancouver since 1975 fortunately we found a home before the housing market went crazy. Please let me know if there are any reunions happening for the class of '68.. .
Also, I'm looking to connect with my old boyfriend from QE - Arthur Anderson - does anyone know where he is or have contact info?
