Shawn's Story
Life
I love my life! Well it's not like anyone else could change it or make it better than I have. I am not in a relationship now but that is not always a bad thing. The right person always has popped up in the most unexpected place anyway.
I am proud to say that as far as I know, I have never let anyone down, hurt anyone that i couldn't help feel better or ran my name "through the mud" as it were. Too bad some people in high school didn't learn that lesson sooner. Your BAD!
I look forward to new things and why not. Change is forever, that's the only thing that doesn't change.
School
I did not feel liked in high school. In some area's I excelled, while in other's I was just not that talented. I was shy growing up and that led to an amazing amount of ridicule and bullying when I was in school. ...Expand for more
The only person who was supportive for me was me. In short, life was hell for me in high school.
To give some credit, my guidance counselor, of whom I still do not know his name and only saw 7 times in high school, gave me absolutely nothing to look forward too despite all of my pleas for assistance. I want to personally thank whomever you may be for that. I heard you may have made principal.
Don't think I didn't have some fun. I did have a blast thru those years, just not at school. I had my own friends and had my own kind of fun. Looking back, I am glad I was bullied so much in school. It gave me the courage to step from a hot as hell graduation into being the confident and comfortable person i am today. No therapy needed! So, thank you for being assholes everyone, I'm better for it. See you at the reunion!
