!I truly admire little old couples holding hands or helping each other or just sitting by the water not saying a word. I want that to be me some day. I am very considerate, creative and intelligent. Even my wildest fancies have their roots in the deep soil of sound ideas and tested beliefs. Because I think like an artist, I tend to lend color and imagination to what would otherwise be the straight black and white lines of the world. I am very mindful of others and do so without the expectation of some reward or recognition. Mine is a different kind of compassion; it's not tit-for-tat with me. Some may consider my motives suspect and think my kindness is something I use to ingratiate myself with others or to get you to like me. Those thoughts are false and usually triggered by envy. My children mean more to me than anything else in the world and ALWAYS will. I LOVE all children and am a preschool teacher at heart. I am trustworthy, offering straightforward counsel when need be. I am a true Southern Bell at heart, from the Mississippi Delta but still LOVE to get dirty. I enjoy working in the yard, photography, crafts, ALL water sports and reading. I'm passionate about keeping in shape physically and mentally. My smile is genuine and so is everything else about me. My next husband will love to come home. Greeting him will be the smell of home-cooked meal, a clean house and some times even nothing under my apron! He will enjoy attending Mass with me weekly as a family. He will appreciate my flexibility in social situations. He'll admire my warmth and willingness to engage, and my ability to sit back and let others take the spotlight. For the most part, I will not settle down until I find a guy who feels blessed to have come across someone like me. He will appreciate my graciousness and selflessness and realize how rare someone like me is to find these days. I will be his breath of fresh air in this all too often dog-eat-dog world. He will not take advantage of me. He will not have a bad temper and he will keep arguments civil and sane, using no profanity. He will live a life defined by integrity. And most of all ~ he will always laugh at my jokes. I love children too (preschool teacher at heart). And my children mean more to me than anything else in the world and ALWAYS will. I am very mindful of others and may even neglect my own interests to accommodate and (too often) will go out of my way to be helpful because I am genuinely interested in the well-being of others. And I do so without the expectation of some reward or recognition.
