Sheila's Story
Life
Hello everyone alot in my life has changed since High School. Back then everyone knew me as Sheila Faubus Partier. After dropping out of school I spent some time trying to figure out what to do with my life( ok a couple years). I had made alot of poor choices and made things very hard for myself.
In 1988 everything changed I met a wonderful man named Don Barnett, who even though he was a couple years ahead of me in school at Mt Si, I had never met before. It was love at first sight. In 1989 we got married. Then in 1990 we had our first son Michael. Two years later along came our other son Kevin. For a couple years I was a stay at home mom but got really antsy to get out of the house. I have had alot of odd jobs but finally found my calling in the lumber industry so I worked at the Weyerhaeuser mill in snoqualmie for a couple of years and loved every second of it. ld last forever. In 2001 I was laid off and looking for work again. After a small stint at Home Depot I was offered a job with the NAPA store in Noth Bend. I have been a driver for them for four years and like it very much. Don works in snoqualmie at Alpine Coachworks doing auto body and paint. On the side we own a real estate investment company. We own a home in Meadowbrook and have lived in the neighborhood for 14 years. We also have Properies in Idaho, Spokane and Enumclaw. My boys are healthy happy teenagers who occasionally pay me back for all the things I put my parents through Otherwise Life has been very good to me. I got my G.E.D. back in 1993 and although it is not a diploma it meant alot for me to complete that chapter in my life. If there is anything I have learned in the last 17 years is that everyone has the ability to change and grow and you never know your own potential until you try.
