Life
After high school, my parents sent me on a student tour all over Europe for 8 weeks and when I started Ithaca College...I guess I came out of my shell....deciding that "partying" was more important than studying!! I left college at the beginning of my senior year and spent 8 more years in Ithaca, NY. My parents moved out of Oradell to Fairfield, CT. I finally outgrew Ithaca in 1976 and relocated to CT, met and married in 1979 and divorced 1986. I remained single for 11 years and by 1994 I'd had enough of the cold and snow and moved out west. I currently live in Phoenix, AZ, love it here and intend to be here for the remainder of my life. I me...Expand for more
t my wonderful husband, Rick, in an AOL chat room in 1995 and we married in 1997. We had a comfortable life and were very much in love. Sadly, he was diagnosed with Stage IV Lung Cancer in late 2004, fought like mad but could not beat the beast. He died on May 29, 2004 after brutal suffering at 51 years of age. I am presently trying to get my life going in some meaningful direction though it is the hardest misery I have ever faced. I am involved in religion, I am very active in politics. After feeling that my life was finally serene after 58 years of personal turmoil, I find myself upside down again. But being the survivor I am, life will go on!
