Sheila's Story
Life
As I look back over the years of my life I can honestly say that 1989 was my best year. I accepted the Lord Jesus Christ, and have been walking strong with Him ever since.
Almost 7 years ago I lost my husband Bob to brain cancer. It was a super hard trial in my life, but I am convinced it has made me a much stronger person.
The Lord has since brought an awesome guy into my life, who is also a widow, and is pictured with me. We married on 7-14-02, and I have re-located to Central Wisconsin. My son Matt who is 19 now is attending Calvary Chapel Bible College Europe in Hungary. I miss him a lot, but I know he is where he is supposed to be.
I am adjusting quite well to farm life, as we live on a 300 acre dairy ...Expand for more
farm. My husband Ken is welding now, but the farm is being used by a local dairy farmer and we have 60 cows out there. Our son Jonathan is now 4 and loves the be around the cows. As I do miss San Diego, we do not miss the traffic and the rat race. It is nice to be a stay at home mom with lots of wide open space.
I do love to sing, and help out at church in a Contempory Christian band. I am also a leader for MOPS (moms of christian pre-schoolers) and I am in a Wed. night womens' Bible Study group.
God is good all of the time. I thank him for all of the many blessings in my life. Even when I have to go through trials, he is always on the throne, and he is always GOOD!
