Sheila's Story
After high school I went to college for awhile in Idaho and also at Saddleback, then went on to work in title and escrow. When the early 70's slump hit the real estate market, I took my savings and hit the road, traveling for several months in the states.
While visiting Yosemite National Park I decided I wanted to live there and got a job in the accounting department. I made the most of the five years I lived in Yosemite Valley, enjoying the cabin I had below Glacier Point, backpacking, skiing, cycling, watching the falls, river and changing season...Expand for more

I met my husband in Yosemite, we were married there, and this year we celebrated our 34th anniversary. We've been living outside the Park, in Mariposa and really enjoy our rural/mountain lifestyle.
We became Christians early in our marriage, which gave us a new life we weren't anticipating, but are eternally thankful for! We are blessed with two grown children and two grandchildren, so far!
