Life My Spouse I was working as a traveling registered nurse (in the neonatal ICU) in Rapid City, SD in 1993. My husband was a foreign student from Norway studing electrical engineering at SD School of Mines and Technology in Rapid City in 1993. One night our paths crossed at the "Fireside Pub" in Rapid City, SD. He was very charming. We talked all night. The next day he taught me how to Telemark ski at Terrys Peak in the Black Hills. He skied most excellently! Since downhill snow skiing is my passion...He soon became my passion too! He took me back to Norway that summer and I fell in love with the country too. He has taken me all over Europe, Russia, Asia, Greece and Turkey. We married 5 years later in the mountains of Norway under the midnight sun! One of my pictures from the wedding involves 3 sheep, me, a small farm house and the mountains...It has won the international photographers award for 2000.
