Sheilah's Story
Life
For those of you that do not remember me, there is a reason; I was not a popular person.
I married Justin Bell in Feb. 1975, and left Mesquite that summer for CA. his first duty station in the Navy. We then moved to Key West, FL. where our oldest son, Joshua was born in July 1976. I returned to Mesquite in 1977 to finish high school. By the end of the 1978 school year I came to the realization that I was too far behind to finish school and graduate within a reasonable time frame. I received my diploma in 1978 and went on to take various college courses. In Jan. 1979 I went to work for First Bank in Balch Springs and continue taking banking education classes. where I went to work for First State Bank of Point, and Justin went back to school and then was hired as a deputy for Rains County Sheriffs Dept. In 1994 our 20-year relationship failed and I returned to Balch Springs where my mother still lives. I went to work for the Credit Union located directly across the street from Mesquite High School, and boy how things had changed in 20 years at the school. Over the next several years I came across a few old classmates, Tracy Gandy, Steve Peterson (Steve now deceased) and a couple of others, one of our classmate worked for the same CU.
I married my Prince Charming in 1996 and the following year we purchased a home and moved to Greenville, Texas where I live and work today.
