Hi. Glad to be part of the group. My path after high school was working for Southern California Edison as a Lineman Apprentice on a crew building transmission towers - dangerous but fulfilling. One year later the draft notice for Vietnam. I joined the Navy and retired after 24.5 years in the Submarine Service. I was an enlisted Missile Technician for 12 years and was selected for Chief MT. I completed completed college while on shore duty and earned a BA in HR. I applied and was accepted to Officer Candidate School in Newport, RI. After graduation and commissioning, there were more sub patrols, Then then final tours at Comsublant in Norfolk, Va and at Bangor WA near Bremerton near where we live. During my nearly 25 years in the service, we have spent time in CT, VA, CA and WA State where we make our home now.
