Life
I have been residing in AZ since 2/03. I currently work for McKesson Specialty Pharmaceuticals as a Medical Reimbursement Specialist.
12/23/04 I was diagnosed with breast cancer, 12/31/04 after further tests they stated it was 5CM in size and suggested I have a double mastectomy. I had the surgery on 2/14/05 (hitting all the holidays here...) with reconstruction on 6/1/05. I got lucky. When they removed the tumor, it was actually 3 small tumors all under 1 CM each so I didn't require chemo or radiation was was all planned o...Expand for more
ut for me originally. I am on tamoxifen for the next 4 years, 5 months (but who's counting?). I will be allowed to go off the meds to try for children but right back on after I give birth. Yippee.
Hmmm, what else? Still into fitness and have done several Ms Fitness USA and Ms Bikini USA competitions. Started Olympic lifting just prior to the surgeries and am trying to get back into the game. Would like to compete in 2 Figure shows, 1 Olympic lifting meet and possibly one strongwoman contest this year. I'll keep you posted.
