Shelley's Story
Wow, almost 40 years encapsulated in 20000 words or less?
Left Howard High and headed to NYC to attend Fashion Institute of Technology. Graduated with a degree in Buying and Merchandising. Worked a few years in the garment industry as an assitant buyer. Modeled a little, protested alot with Bella Abzug for womens rights.
I wasn't a "city girl" so I packed my dog, cat and boyfriend in my VW and moved to Las Vegas. Went to school and became a Blackjack dealer. Married the boyfriend, bad idea, but have a wonderful daughter who's now a Veterinarian. Divorced the "boyfriend" and have had several businesses of my own. Wholesale plants, travel business, pastry shop, wholesale beauty supply company.
Las Vegas continued to grow by leaps and bounds with crime escalating and the school system suffering so I moved my daughter to Breckenridge, Co. Great ski town, and a wonderful place to raise my...Expand for more

I moved to Salt Lake City 15 years ago when my daughter graduated from high school. I owned a wholesale beauty supply company which I just recently closed and moved back to Colorado.
I'm still single after a few attempts at relationships. For what ever reasons they just weren't ment to be for the long haul.
My free time is spent ballroom dancing, skiing, volunteering with my dog at senior centers, scuba diving when I get a chance and enjoying my friends and family.
Life is really good and I prefer
keeping a positive attitude. I went back to school in the early 90's to
become an Ordained Minister. Ordination was in St. John's Cathedral in NYC. I love doing weddings and concentrating on two people in love for a few weeks while I write their ceremony.
Life is really good. I have very few regrets, and look forward to the next 50+ years being as good as the last 50+.
