More about Shelley:"The way I see it, when something is posted on a wall and not a private message, than any who read it (and have access to the comment option) are free to weigh in. It's what I think is so grand about the internet. It's like a giant cocktail party, except where you can talk politics and religion. Sometimes someone will say something across the room that will shock us and we have to know more, or sometimes we might be careful to avoid getting any closer LOL. And then there are times when one of those chance encounters (be it with a friend, or friend of a friend) they open us up to a new glimpse of how to view an old situation that we thought we already had figured out....or in having to explain ourselves, helps us to clarify even further how we feel and aid us in our own defining, if you will.
While I feel great comfort from my likeminded allies, I learn so much more in areas where we see things differently. In other words, I appreciate both interactions.
