Shellie's Story
I can't believe how long it has been since high school. Where has the time gone? A friend of mine was saying how many memories this site had brought back to her and curiosity got the best of me. I have been in contact with a few people I knew in school and my friend was right. I've had some fun talking with people and remembering things that I had completely forgotten about. But as I sit trying to think what to write here... should I say that I was a Playboy bunny and was thrown out of the mansion because the other bunnies were jealous of me. Probably too much of a stretch...huh? So I guess I'll just have to settle with the life I have been leading. No complaints actually..I have had a lot of fun. Time has been good to me.
I have two wonderful daughters, 19 and 25. I work for the FAA testing air traffic control software. Currently we are installing a new air traffic control system to all the centers and I recently spent a month in Denver installing that system. What a great job...traveling the country. Next stop Indianapolis, then Cleveland, Chicago..and so on.
I have been separated for almost two years, but still have a wonderful relationship with my "ex". We have remained such good f...Expand for more
riends. Why wouldn't we? We spent half a lifetime together and have two beautiful girls. We give each other the respect we deserve.
I have a horse, Cody and a border collie, Laci. Now that the girls are older, I spend as much of my free time with them as possible or just working around the house.. My house has also become my pass time and hobby.
Maybe this is a good place to tell you that I was the one who invented the one-of-its-kind microchip that without this chip, space travel would not be possible.... never mind....didn't think you would buy that one either......
But, I do shoot pool a couple times a week and I'm not too bad. A few years back, our team won the district, then the "cities" and we won a trip to Las Vegas to compete against pool players from United States and Canada. Out of 1500 we came in a modest 800. Not too bad :-D. I love the game..but, I hate to lose.. kinda hate to lose at anything..actually.
Oh well, I'm looking down and seeing my "characters remaining" are dwindling away. So...just hello to all my classmates and anyone else who has lasted long enough through "my story" to still be hanging in there. It would be fun to swap stories... drop me a line :-)
