Life
I went to work for an accounting office 2 weeks after graduation. I married Chris Hanes in April, 1989, quit work and had first son Chance (now almost 14) in 1990. I have stayed at home and raised two more sons, (Shane age 12, and Clint almost 10) We live on Chris' family farm outside of Hart. I am the "hired hand" when needed. Can you believe this city girl drives tractor, runs a module builder, spray buggy and anything else that needs to be done? The boys show "pigs" each year--that has been a new experience for me, too. We have raised cotton the last several years, and I love the country, especially with three boys!!! I raise a gard...Expand for more
en and "can" vegi's with my mother in law, We still attend church in Plainview, where I see my parents, and Brent Richburg and Jana (Marshall) Nichols, and Doug Barnes along with most everyone I grew up with. I also run into others from our class in Plainview since we are only 40 miles west. We love to go to the lake, and ski, knee board and wake board. We also enjoy camping when we get to go. We also hit the slopes every winter that we can. Being the only female in the family, I guess I will get to do most of the "boy" vacations from here on out!!!! I can't believe its been 20 years since we graduated. I look forward to our reunion.
