Shelly's Story
I am now Shelly Ulrich, was Cooper. I've been married to the same white man for almost 21 years.(Shut up!!, that would probably surprise most). We met in Church and we both love the Lord. I received Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior in 1983 shortly after graduating from High School. Yes, I've changed a great deal from the wild and crazy child in high school. Sorry to all of you who may have been at the other end of my wrath, I didn't know that I didn't own the world and wasn't God's gift to the world! At least I learned. :-)
We married in 1987. We have 2 amazing sons, Ian Michael who is a freshman at OSU, although he was born a Wolverine!! Had to follow the $. He want to be a PT, or a Veteraniary. th play the violin and love all music. They also both play hockey and soccer.
We have a dog named Sassy, she and I are the Queens in our castle and rule! She is an American Eskimo and beautiful.
By profession I've been a social worker for 21 years and am currently in administration. I love my work, although looking forward to retirement sooner than later. It's kind of scary actually thinking retirement as it means WE'RE getting old.
If you remember I still love and play tennis and love to run. My goal is a marathon and I'm getting closer.
I work and have worked very hard since beginning my carrer I use to camp for a little R & R, but we haven't camped in awhile. Now I sit and relax usually zoning out especially during the cold winter months. I'm so ready for summer, so I can begin working on a pond I'm putting in this summer.
