Shelly's Story
Hello everyone. I attended Dimond-Mears from 7th to the end of 9th grade. 1976-79. I was born and raised in Anchorage AK, but after 9th grade we moved to Minnesota. We moved to a very small German Catholic farming town. I dated a farmer named Kevin for 1 1/2 years. Quite a culture shock for me, but I quickly learned to love it.
I graduated from the high school here in MN with 113 in my class. After I graduated, I moved back to Anchorage, where I worked for IICC. I met and married Noel in 1984. We had two sons while in Alaska, and moved back to MN in 1987 because of the AK economy at the time. We ...Expand for more
were married for 16 years and have a total of 5 sons together, including one set of twins.
I then got back together with my highschool sweetheart after 18 years, Kevin, from here in MN. We have been back together for 10 years now, and we have two daughters. I have many family members still living in Anchorage, but I have not been back for a long time. I think it would be great to get in touch with my old grade school and middle school friends from Alaska, like Amelia and Kelly, Rhonda,Shawna, and others. So if you are on here, write me a note. I'm sure there are others too that I may not remember.
