Michele's Story
Life
Currently, I am living in Virginia, following a career opportunity for my husband. One coast to the other, quite a difference from the left coast as they call it out here. I was lucky enough to meet my husband, Mark, at Chico State in 1989, we will be married for 24 years in August.
After graduating from Chico State, I had a variety of work experiences mostly involving the medical insurance field. In 2003, I returned to school to pursue my National Certification in Massage Therapy. I have had my professional massage practice for 11 years and am on the Massage Advisory Board to the Govenor of Virginia. I love my practice and helping people reach there health goals.
We have a super 20 year old daughter, Devon, who will be graduating from CSU, Monterey Bay in '16. Oh, how the time flies!

oved horses and when we moved to VA, I was able to pursue a lifelong dream of owning and working with horses. In 2006, we were able to move into our "dream" home. In all honesty the barn and indoor arena were what we looked at first, the house was second on the list of importance. Fortunately, the house was as wonderful as we could want. Now we are all settled in with our 4 horses, Casino, Sierra, Extreme, and Casse. Devon competed regionally in Dressage through high school. Now Mark and I trail ride. We expanded the farm to include miniature donkeys, chickens and turkeys. We were all happy to leave subdivision world behind.
I still enjoy reading, as most of you who are familiar with me know, I can still be found with my nose in a book when I want to relax. Mark and I are enjoying being empty nesters.
