Shepherd's Story
Life
Shepherd Brown, originally from Hell's Kitchen in Manhattan, New York, moved to California during his formative years. He graduated with a B.S. in Graphic Design from San Jose State.
After graduating from SJSU, Shepherd began working in several small design firms in the Bay Area, where he honed his typography and design skills. The projects were primarily for print and online marketing communications for the technology, health and entertainment sectors. In 2004 he joined Intuit, Inc., maker of financial software solutions that include TurboTax, QuickBooks, and Quicken. Since 2005, he has been acting as design director of Intuit's creative services team. Projects include the redesign of packaging and launches, internal corporate identities & collateral and marketing solutions.
Shepherd resides in the Bay Area with his wife and two sons. He is a volunteer little league umpire, avid baseball fan, and collector of all things Tiki. He makes a mean pulled pork BBQ and an even meaner Mai Tai.
